Rose Flack is a 17-year old Idaho native with a heartbreaking story:
Her father passed away when she was 13; her mom died two years later. Still, this aspiring singer has shown amazing strength as she's made it to the Hollywood round of season eight.
Flack sang "I Feel The Earth Move" by Carol King for her audition. It's impossible not to cheer her on. Go, Rose!

I like that Rose. I'm not normally an Idol fan past auditions, I usually tune in to see the bad singers and the judges reactions, but Rose caught my attention, and her story keeps me coming back to see how she is making out. I hope she hangs around for a while.

Rose....You are AWESOME!!! Don't give up! You have a very unique sound. I'm not sure that our uncultured society is ready for you. However, having said that, you are wonderful, classy, unique, and VERY talanted. You must persevere through opposition and obstacles. You WILL make it. I can't wait to stand in line to get your first CD!!!

Rose may not have been the best singer, but she is a good singer, and she has a great heart. I think her true niche will be in the movies. I hope that side of the entertainment industry sits up and takes notice of her. As she said, she is "charming."
