The singe is working on his master's degree at the University of North Carolina. He is 21 years old and sang "Thank You" by Boys II Men for his initial audition.
Fans were shocked when Anoop didn't make the finals cut after his semifinal audition. But the judges brought him back for the eighth season wild card round and approved his advancement following that performance.
