Looking to capitalize on a pair of its hit reality shows, the network has asked two American Idol finalists to appear on a charity version of the quiz show Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?

In November, host Jeff Foxworthy will quiz Clay Aiken and Kellie Pickler on their knowledge of basic geography, history, science, math and English. It should be fun.

Billy Bush, Regis Philbin and Tony Hawk are also scheduled to appear.

A slimmed-down Kellie Pickler (she shed 17 pounds... and got a boob job?) wags her tongue as she performs her single "I Wonder" during an appearance Monday on Good Morning America.

The former American Idol runner-up is currently touring the U.S. with country star Brad Paisley in support of her album Small Town Girl.

Kellie Pickler recently sat down with Star magazine. Here is the interview with the former American Idol finalist...

Are you still touring?
Yeah, I'm on the Brad Paisley tour right now. I am having so much fun out on the road with Brad. Every night its something new there is never a dull moment.

Tell me about the CMA Music Festival.
It was so much fun. I've never performed in a stadium. I was very privileged when they asked me to be a part of the special. I actually got to surprise this girl — she is a big fan of mine so I surprised her with tickets to the show. I took her backstage, she had a wonderful experience and we had so much fun getting to know each other. I think I made a good friend.

What was the most memorable part of CMA Music Festival?
Oh my gosh the whole thing. To be able to share the stage with all these artists that I've admired my whole life, there's just nothing better. I'll never forget coming offstage and Jewel said to me "Great job, Kellie. I love your song, you did an awesome job." I'll never forget that. She was very very nice and beautiful. That was a special moment for me.

Being famous and being on the road, are there any down sides?
You have to take the good with the bad. I really can't complain but I guess if I had to, even though I don't like to, it would probably be that it's kind of weird when you hear different rumors about yourself. My friends had read in some magazine that I was getting married, and it's just weird. I guess things can be misconstrued and fabricated. You just have to laugh at it.

For the record you're not getting married [to boyfriend Jordin Tootoo, a hockey star]?
I'm not getting married, I'm not having a baby. I am adopting a kittens, that's about as close to motherhood as it's gonna be for a while. Trust me, I am about as far away from the altar as it gets.

What are you naming your new cat?
Pickles. I thought it was destined to be that!

Rankin Inlet has been abuzz this week with sightings of a celebrity couple:  hometown hockey hero Jordin Tootoo and his girlfriend, American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler.

The NHL player has been dating the country singer since January, reports CBC News, and has brought her home to Nunavut to meet his family.

Pickler  says her time in the region has been a welcome break from her hectic schedule back home.

"[There's] no cellphone service here, so that's a big plus. No one probably knows what a cellphone is here, do they?" she joked in a CBC interview.

Pickler had never been to Canada before. She was earlier quoted as saying she was hoping to build an igloo on her visit - and our staff made fun of her for it. But even though that didn't pan out, the Tootoo family is making sure she goes home with her share of truly northern experiences, such as fishing and sampling local food.

"I've had different types of food that I never in my wildest dreams ever thought I'd try … raw caribou and whale blubber," she said on Wednesday. "You've got to salt everything."

Pickler said besides ketchup chips, which aren't available in the U.S., her favorite part of the trip has been the people.

"I've never felt so welcome anywhere like I have here. As soon as I got off the plane, everyone was waiting for me at the airport, just to welcome me to the community. Everyone's been so nice."

Kellie Pickler and Canadian hockey player Jordin Tootoo have a lot in common. Most importantly?

"We're each other's biggest fans," the former American Idol singer says.

Pickler the Nashville Predators right wing met after they bought condos in the same Nashville complex, where Tootoo spotted Pickler and asked for her phone number.

Pickler tells People magazine they were friends at first, but the relationship had turned romantic by spring.

"We're from real different places, but they're both small towns so we're a lot alike too," she says (she's from Albemarle, N.C.; he grew up in Rankin Inlet, a small town in Nunavut in Canada's Northwest Territories).

Now, she says, "We let each other shine in our moments and are so proud of each other. I go to games and I'm the fan in the Predators jersey, screaming my head off. He comes to my concert with a Pickler t-shirt and he does the same."

Awwww. It's like another athlete/Idol couple, we assume: Tony Romo and Carrie Underwood.

Fittingly, Kellie and Jordin's first date was to a hockey game, a sport about as foreign to Pickler as Tootoo's native tongue, Inuktikut. (The first player of Inuit descent to play in the NHL, Tootoo is also fluent in English.)

"We had a little communication problem at first," Pickler says with a laugh. "And I had never been to a hockey game – we didn't have hockey in Albemarle. I had no idea what was going on, but I loved it anyway. It's so fast and exciting!"

On Thursday, Pickler will take a break from Brad Paisley's "Bonfires and Amplifiers" tour and travel way north of the border to spend a week with Tootoo and his family.

"I'm just so excited about seeing where he is from," she tells People. "It will be a totally different culture and I'm fascinated by other cultures. I have no idea what to expect. I know they do a lot of hunting and fishing and they eat what they kill. It's not like there's a Subway down the street. It's also been snowing up there, so I'm going to learn to drive a snowmobile. If it's anything like 4-wheelin', I'm set!"

Recently, a pair of American Idols underwent significant changes. No, we don't mean the career boosts of Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis.

Kellie Pickler may - or, we suppose, may not have - gotten breast enhancements. We don't care much either way, but a lot has been made about this celebrity gossip rumor.

Kellie Pickler looks a bit more curvy these days than she did as a Season Five American Idol finalist – but she doesn't have anything she wants to get off her chest.

On the KIIS-FM radio show of Ryan Seacrest Monday morning, the host asked Pickler how she felt about people's comments on her "supersize" figure after she made a guest appearance on this season's Idol.

"Are you talking about my boobs again?" She replied. "Why are you looking at my boobs anyways, you pervert?"

"I'm not looking at them, America is looking at them," Seacrest said.

Pickler responded that she simply appeared to have a fuller physique because "My hair was shorter so everything else looked bigger. [Besides,] I'm 20, my boobs are supposed to be perky."

Still, Seacrest didn't let up. He directly asked about the possibility of phony boobs.

"I don't know," Pickler said. "Ever since the show and your comments, all I hear about is my boobs. But you know me, Ryan, I like to be the center of attention, and right now me and the girls, we are pretty much getting a lot of attention. I like to keep it a mystery. Let the mystery live on because as soon as I say yes or no then no one is going to care anymore."

In the meantime, Pickler has been keeping herself busy with other things.

She's currently on tour opening for Brad Paisley and performing her new single "I Wonder," about her mom, who left when Pickler was a little girl. "I feel like people are really getting to know me on an intimate level," she told Seacrest.

Carrie Underwood won a pair of country music awards earlier this week.

But some people are more concerned about the fashion choices of various celebrities. With that in mind, let's break down two country crooners from American Idol seasons past.

Carrie appears nice and understated, but Kellie Picker is practically falling out of her dress. Looks like those new "shoes" she bought recently are taking on a life of their own.
