Carrie Underwood was the biggest winner at last night's People's Choice Awards.

The American Idol champion took home trophies for Favorite Female Singer, Favorite Country Song and Favorite Star 35 & Under.

"God has blessed me with a wonderful life and a wonderful career and the most amazing fans I could ever dream for," Underwood told the audience. "People being fans and people voting for me are what gave me a career in the first place, and its so amazing that they continue to support [me]."

Jordin Sparks, meanwhile, shared an honor with Chris Brown. The duo won the category Favorite Combined Forces award for the popular duet "No Air."

The Country Music Awards are set to air on November 12 - and, as usual, American Idol champion Carrie Underwood will be in contention for two of the biggest.

Carrie's "Carnival Ride" has been nominated for album of the year. It will compete against:

• Kenny Chesney (Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates)
• Alan Jackson (Good Time)
• George Strait (Troubadour)
• Brooks & Dunn (Cowboy Town)

Underwood is also up for rntertainer of the year. Those daring to challenge her in this category include:

• Chesney
• Strait
• Brad Paisley
  Sugarland
• Keith Urban

Carrie Underwood has been nominated in the “Mainstream Country Artist” and “Video of the Year” categories at the 14th Annual Inspirational Country Music Award Show.

The show will take place on October 16, 2008 at the Trinity Music City USA Auditorium in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

The event is described as:

“The annual Inspirational Country Music Awards are dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent among artists who perform Christian and Inspirational Country music.”

We find Carrie Underwood extraordinarily sexy.

But the American Idol champion doesn't seem to agree.

"I don't consider myself sexy... I'm kind of a nervous person in general. I'm socially awkward. I'm not tall and sensuous. I usually wear sweats everywhere I go. Oh, and I burp a lot," Underwood told Cosmopolitan for its July issue.

We're pretty sure that quote just made Underwood more sexy.

Formerly connected to Chace Crawford and Tony Romo, Underwood admits she's been cheated on a "time or two," although she won't name names.

"Cheating is a deal breaker," Underwood said. "If you cheat you're gone. Getting revenge on a guy is just not worth it to me... the best revenge I can think of is becoming famous."
