I wonder if Adam knows he has a cult following of us over-50s girls. His magnetic mesmerizing memoriable performances totally captivated me and he should have won the contest. I mean, just LOOK at him! JK those blue eyes make me weak in the knees! I think people are almost afraid of Adam, he is a huge talent, too big for the tiny minds of most people in America. Chris was good, of course, but hey, Adam was more versatile, had much more vocal range, and is overall the most amazing performer I have seen in a long long time, maybe ever!

OMG - I am so gutted. Just seen the show in the uk after a full day of media blockout as the show was aired in the US yesterday. Still in shock, me and my flatmate are diehard adam fans so gutted, but i'm sure he will do good anyway...when is the albumn coming...and what to watch now..Britain's got talent :(

both adam and kris were deserving of the title. but kris won it and even adam accepted the result like a good sport. so glambert fans: get over it!

Adam was definitely the hands down best the show had this year. I hope he makes it BIG, his song mad world was absolutely fabulous.....I do not dislike Kris but do not think he will make it big like the two or three that have(Underwood, Daughtry, Clarkson)....good luck to both Kris and Adam....hope to buy some of Adam's cd's!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Kris Allen! He deserved it. Did well, week after week. Adam is great but I like Kris's sound better and can't wait for his CD. Adam will have a great career all the same in many different areas but this was a deserved win for Kris.

I just saw a documentary ab. the Afghan version of this show, Afghan Star. It is so good! You should check it out while you wait for the next season of idol... theres really so much amazing drama on it! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1334510/

I was totally shocked by the outcome of American Idol's results. There was "no contest" between Adam & Kris. Adam is a better vocalist and performer. Each week I looked forward to his performances. He brought excitment and energy to the show. I won't be tuning in to AI next season. Adam....you are the American Idol in my book. Looking forward to your first musical release.

I just found out that Charity Folks is auctioning off two VIP tickets to join the Top Ten from 2009 in a concert. Meet them at a meet & greet, VIP seats and backstage passes are included! I'm going to forever be angry that Adam didn't win. Kris shouldve been booted out after matt and it shouldve been either adam vs danny or adam vs alison. I love you Adam! YOUR the best!
