Look, we could praise Adam Lambert after every single audition this season.
The singer is as talented and as original as any singer in the history of American Idol.
For the sake of not boring our readers, though, we're simply gonna acknowledge another terrific performance by Lambert last night for his rendition of "Play That Funky Music" and move on to the other top crooner of the week:
Kris Allen.
While Danny Gokey and Allison Iraheta were also solid, Allen's arragement of "Ain't No Sunshine" was easily his best of the season. Watch it for yourself:

KRIS ALLEN IS INCREDIBLY GIFTED AND CREATES MAGIC WITH HIS TENDER VOICE. HE HAS THE BEST VOICE ON AI TO DATE. UNLIKE SOME OF THE OTHER CONTESTANTS, KRIS HAS KEPT HIMSELF REAL, HEARTFELT, AND MODEST. HIS QUIRKY, SEXY, BOYISH GRIN WILL HAVE THE GIRLS (AND WOMEN) SWOONING, (ALONG WITH HIS AWESOME VOICE) BE SURE TO VOTE...WE HAVE TO HEAR MORE FROM THIS YOUNG PERFORMER...CAUSE "AIN'T NO SUNSHINE WHEN YOUR GONE!" KRIS ALLEN, WE LOVE YOU!!!

Kris Allen is good yes.. but Danny Gokey was amazing. It sickens me hearing people say how the show is milking his loss. I got goosebumps when he sand What Hurts The Most. You could just feel and see the connection with him and the song, and tell he was singing to his wife. I have never heard that song before last night. After I heard Danny sing it, I had to look it up. I then continued to listen to Danny's version probably for 2 hours straight in a row. I love it. I even got teary just watching him sing it. He deserves to win.

I'm not an American Idol fan but this season seems to have a few singers I'm impressed with: mainly Adam of course and Alison. Gokey is ok but white soul isn't my thing unless it's amazing and he is not amazing. But Kris's Ain't No Sunshine was excellent. He deconstructed it and really made it his own. Adam did the same with "Tracks" but while doing something similar Kris didn't copycat. He might be one to watch.

I just love Adam Lambert to death and hope he wins the whole damn thing - guy's just magic, love him!! While Kris is a little tame for my taste, he was so good on Tuesday that I really remembered him after the show for the first time.
Gokey, ugh. I didn't feel that one like the judges did, but he's going to be around to annoy me for weeks to come - possibly right to the end.

Adam is a genius -- I'm glad they recognize that. He's going to be big big big. The record companies will fight over him and I can't wait to see what he does. He's riveting. Brilliant. Wow.
I agree that of course-- Alison. She's really got it, too, in a different way. But Adam is a real performer--so many faces and all of them fascinating. I hope they grab him up as soon as this is over.

well i really like the American Idol, so we don't have to see the same celebrity again and again, good to see something new.
