The three most talented finalists on American Idol really made their presence felt this week.
As usual, we gotta start with Adam Lambert. He surpried the crowd with a slow version of "If I Can't Have You." Kara DioGuardi said it was her favorite performance of the season by Lambert. We disagree, but only because he's set the bar so high.
Our other top auditions went to:
- Allison Iraheta, who roared her way through the Donna Summer classic, “Hot Stuff.” Paula Abdul said: “The word compromise does not even belong in your musical vocabulary.” Well... okay then!
- Kris Allen also went with a Donna Summer song, “She Works Hard for the Money.” He slowed it down on acoustic guitar and received enthusiastic thumbs up from all four judges.

USA Today reports that AI producer Ken Warwick says about Kris Allen:
“Kris is a really, really nice guy — helps everybody. He’s a brilliant guitarist; he’s got incredible music knowledge. Any kid who’s having trouble picking a song, he’s there to help. He’s great.”
Kris Allen helps out the other Idol contestants with their songs and arrangements.
Now THAT is a great guy.
So not only is Kris working on his own song, but is helping out his competition pick songs.

I loved adam lambert!!!!! He is so talented he has a beutiful voice!!!!!! I love him, i know he's gonna win!!!!
