This was our favorite American Idol performance show of the season.
All five finalists delivered top-notch renditions of Rat Pack classics, while we even liked the advice and enthusiasm of guest mentor Jamie Foxx.
Still, when all was said and done, a pair of singers stood out from the rest: Adam Lambert and Kris Allen.
Paula Abdul compared Lamert to Olympic champion Michael Phelps, while Allen kick started the show and set the bar so high that the following acts seemed to disappoint.

Adam was best as usual. OKAY ADAM FANS!!….If you really want Adam to win then it’s time to vote exclusively for Adam every week now. Adam in the bottom two? Unbelievable! I’m really hoping that it was because people were still voting to save one of the other contestants while thinking that Adam would be so far ahead that he wouldn’t need the votes. Everyone talks about how great Adam is and yet he was 4th place tonight. VOTE ADAM ONLY!

Adam only save through this competition was his showmanship to compensate forhis screamin' singin'. He's puky. The rest of the group all have different genre, Kris is mellow he doesn't have to scream his vocals; Danny is soul; and Allison is a rocker. Me thinks the bottom three antic was rigged to make fans feel "sorry" for Adam in order to get him more votes next week. Adam fans, don't be so smug, he's not on top as you all think he is.

Adam has it in the bag and there is no reason to feel sorry for him.He is going to sweep the competition.They do the things they did lastnight to keep drama in the show.I know that he was no way in the bottom three.You know they can tell you whatever they want and who is going to know the difference.All the way Adam you are awesome and have great talent.

Adam has a techically fine voice and is gifted. That said his version of the "rat pack" song is indicative that to me he is becoming predictable and formula ridden. Allison was terrific and is my favorite, no I am not hispanic or a female but an old white male who happens to appreciate Allson's rock edge (even on a pop standard like "Someone To Watch Over Me" and exciting original spin on every song. Simon is full of shit regarding his critique on her Tuesday night - and he sasid Matt was brilliant - what upside down universe is he on. Kris is good but nothing outstanding and forgettable- blah. Danny is soulful and my second fave. Matt was the weakest link and hasn't been that good since his "Georgia On Mind"performance during the preliminaries.

Adam not only has a technically fine voice, but he is an awesome entertainer. American Idol or not He will be the only Idol for me. I would do anything to see him perform. I may even cry when I see him. And I am over 50. He makes me feel so happy and alive when he sings. Makes you think life is beautiful. ADAM thanks for making me feel so good. If he were voted off I could not watch this show ever again. I think they treated him in a very cruel manor lst night.

Totally agree with 'tikigirl'. ADAM is beyond amazing and makes me feel SOOOOOOOOO~~ GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~~~~D EVERY SINGLE MOMENT WHEN I LISTEN TO HIM. In the way AI treated ADAM on Wed nite was acceptable really. ADAM we love you so much.

I am totally stumped at why Kris is still in it...I mean he does sing good but I thought Matt had a stronger voice. Adam definitely sings well but a little pitchy for me with alot of screaming and theatrics. For me Danny is the best singer with his genuine voice and humble spirit.
