   He was being respectful as it should have been. I am sure he would have loved to put a spin on it, but David is true to his heart....plus he openly said he was very nervous. It was great!

   He realized that the National Anthem is not about him and a grandstanding performance but about the flag and our country. He never took his eyes off the flag. It was a performance filled with respect. What a class act.

   I thought is was a good performance. He did look a little nervous, but who wouldn't be. I have tickets to see the American Idol tour in Columbus, Ohio and I am very excited. Can't wait to see all the idols!!

   Bless his heart... he did seem a bit nervous. But who wouldn't be?! And it's only because he cares SO MUCH about always giving a great performance. Even tho he was a tiny bit off key with that first really low note, he can do NO WRONG as far as I'm concerned. That is a VERY hard song to sing and he did it with purity of voice and heart, just as it was written to be. I think David Cook is positively AMAZING and I TOTALLY ADORE HIM!! I can't wait to see him and the rest of the Idol finalists in Sacramento on July 9! :)

   I thought it was a very good performance. He looked like he could pee his pants, but the players standing there looked like they could too. I thought he did very well. Too bad the tour isn't coming to Iowa! I really want to go.

   That was horrible! I'm sorry but that was like going to a high school basketball game and hearing the horrendous national anthem being sung.
