David Cook took top ranking with me tonight. Wonderful performance.
I rank the others as follows:
David Archeleta #2; Jason Castro #3; Syesha Mercado #4; Carly Smithson #5; Kristy Lee Cook #6; Brook White #7.

I love the Davids. I can't decide between the two. I think it could go either way, but one of them will win and the other will be runner up. The other idols as good as they are in their own right, pale in comparison to these two.

I thought Jason out sang them all. I guess I just didn't know the song but I thought David Cook was off key. Anyway my favs were Jason,David A, Carly, Kristy, David C, Syesha and Brook

Almost all of them did a very dull job of covering a Mariah Carey song. The top performances were Jason and the Davids. Brooke would come in fourth place, following David Cook.

Jason Castro. Love his unique spin on every song. Actually all of the guys are/were good.
