Idol Gives Back Lineup Announced
Fox has announced that Idol Gives Back - the fund-raiser that in its inaugural edition generated $76 million for charity - this season will be broadcast Wednesday, April 9, from 8 to 10 pm/ET.
Promising an event "bigger and more ambitious than ever," Fox thus far has lined up the following celebrities:
- Bono
- Brad Pitt
- Reese Witherspoon
- Miley Cyrus
- Mariah Carey
- Eli Manning
- Peyton Manning
- Fergie
- Chris Daughtry
- Carrie Underwood
- Annie Lennox
- John Legend
- Snoop Dogg

Wow! That is so great that American Idol and those celebrities are doing that for Charity! It sounds like it's going to be a great show!

I have mixed feelings about this lineup. I like the fact that Bono, Miley Cyrus, and Fergie are on the list, because they actually support charities. I don't know what the rest have done, though, especially Mariah and Snoop. At least all the money goes to charity.

Let us not forget the people in Missouri
dealing with the flooding.when idol gives back I hope missouri is helped.I am a fellow missourian living in virginia.one town in missouri was piedmont missouri,which was evacuated because of flood waters.please never stop giving to those in need,we had family living in piedmont missouri.god bless you all!
