Here's the clip of American Idol winner Jordin Sparks singing the national anthem before Super Bowl XLII. She looked nervous, didn't she? And almost a tad too serious?
We know it was a big stage, Jordin, but you could've smiled a little more...

I think Jordin did and awesome job. Naturally anyone performing the national anthem at the superbowl would have some jitters no matter how seasoned the performer. She did not need to smile , she conveyed the emotion and the power of the song. She smiled at the right moment. I was impressed !!!
