Britney Spears Lays into American Idol Judges

Simon on Britney Remember a few weeks ago when the American Idol judges said they'd love to help Britney Spears?

We thought it was a kind gesture. But apparently Britney did not.

According to Star Magazine, the absolute train wreck responded to such reports by saying: "What a joke!  They help me? I invented what they do!"

Spears then vowed never to work with any of the judges again, ripping each one, by saying:

  • Paula Abdul is a "has-been freak."
  • Simon Cowell is a "creepy Eurotrash guy who's mean and dated."
  • Randy Jackson is a "lame, cookie-cutter producer."

We can't say for sure whether Britney uttered these words or not - but would you put anything past her at this point?

Chris Richardson and Lauren Conrad: Back Together?

Granted, we don't know if Chris Richardson and Lauren Conrad were ever actually dating.

But The Hills star was seen leaving Hyde nightclub late Monday night right behind the American Idol alum, repeating a scene from April.

Back then, Conrad said Richardson was a “very sweet kid. He’s just a friend of mine… I’m not dating anyone.” But forgive us for not entirely knowing what to believe.

We just wonder if Blake Lewis is jealous.

Chris Daughtry Talks About Life, Tour, More

Chris Daughtry and his band performed at the University of Alabama Friday night. The school's newspaper, The Crimson White, had a chance to speak with the former American Idol finalist...

"Who am I? I'm just a normal dude that got lucky, I guess," said Daughtry on Friday night, just before he was to perform.

Homecoming King "I've been doing this for eleven years, playing the same bars over and over for the same people, and I finally got my break," Daughtry said, referring to his appearance as a finalist on American Idol.

Throughout the interview, Daughtry continued to emanate that same sort of humble attitude, though he admitted that his musical ability and perseverance played a part in his rise to fame.

"I decided [if] people aren't coming out to see me, you know, from record labels, I might as well go get seen," he said, pointing out that had he not auditioned for American Idol, he would likely still be an unknown playing in bars.

Being from North Carolina, it would be only natural for Daughtry to be included in the football-obsessed masses that make up a significant portion of the population of the region. But somehow, Daughtry said, that never happened.

"It's weird," he said. "My whole family is into sports, football, basketball, baseball, and actually it's something I never really got into. I don't really know why. I just never really got sucked into sports."

Daughtry was quick to say that even though he is not actively interested in sports, he also does not actively dislike them.

"Being at games, I always enjoy them," he said. "It's always a lot more fun being there than, for me, watching it on TV."

Daughtry said when he was growing up, rather than being involved in sports, he would draw.

"I was always drawing," he said. "I was a nerd. I was reading comic books. I thought that's what I was going to do, like be a comic artist."

Jordin Sparks: Future Actress?

Future Actress? Might Jordin Sparks soon pull a Jennifer Hudson?

While it's ambitious for the American Idol champion to be clearing away a spot on her mantel for an Academy Award, it sounds as though the young star wouldn't mind a movie role here or there.

She said as much to MTV in a recent interview:

"I would love to do some acting," Sparks said. "I did musical theater back home, and I love being on the stage and acting out. It's so cool to become a different character for a little bit, so if the opportunity comes along, I'd love to do a movie or Broadway. If I ever actually have the time, I'd love to do it."

American Idol Picture of the Day: Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest at Play

There wasn't much doubt that Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest were not the antagonists they often pretend to be on America Idol.

But any shadow of it should now be erased after these two celebrities were caught playing together in a pool in Miami. Aren't they adorable?

Kellie Pickler Goes Off on Jordin Tootoo at Concert

Shame on you, Jordin Tootoo.

It's rather evident that this hockey player ended his relationship with Kellie Pickler in the most immoral of ways: by cheating on the beautiful American Idol star.

How can we be so sure? Well, at a September 22 show in Michigan, concert goers say that Pickler announced that her new theme song is Carrie Underwood’s Before He Cheats... and then added that she hoped Tootoo’s teeth would be knocked out during a hockey game.

Despite her jokes, though, fans thought Pickler was in pain over the end of her 8-month-long relationship with Tootoo; she cried while singing Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You.

Keep your chin up, Kellie! He didn't deserve you anyway.
