Sanjaya Malakar is still on American Idol.
This may disappoint many fans that believe his audition earlier in the week was - by far - the weakest of the men's field. But maybe viewers dug Malakar's new look. It was rather drastic.

Sanjaya should never be part of this competition. He's on the wrong show. Sadly, none of his fans are old enough to understand when I say he could have qualified for THE GONG SHOW! I suppose the reason kids don't understand what real singing should be is because visual and performing arts have been put on the back burner in public schools. Kids no longer know what is good and bad. Believe me, Sanjaya is BAD.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SINGING COMPETITION NOT A BEAUTY CONTEST,SOMEONE PLEASE DEFINE AMERICAN IDOL FOR US.I THINK OUR JUDGES NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL ON WHOM THEY LET THROUGH IN THE AUDTIONS.SIMON IS RIGHT WHEN HE MAKES THE COMMENT THIS IS A SINGING COMPETITION.

hey guys I have yo agree i watch american idol just to watch sanjaya get down.... but honestly I dont think he is awsome he does not have a very stong or commanding voice.... BUt hey he has such a cute sweet spirit someone in disney channel will snatch him up he has that whole young package!!!!...... Oh! maybe he'll model in high fashion he has the look.. all in all the boy alone and quit critizing him. O.K. holla im going back to my life now!

I love Sanjaya so much. He makes me feel 21 again. I cry everytime I see him. I love his new crazy hairdo. I am his number one fan.
