Let's put this into perspective a bit here. We saw more of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA than we are seeing of this girl, so let's not act like she was caught making a porn video or anything like that. Obviously these pictures don't make her look angelic, but how many celebrities do you that ARE good influences on children? Not that many by my count. You should worry more about whether your kids can look up to you and not whether they should look up to some singer they've only ever seen on tv a few times. The are parents all over this country and all over the world that have done a lot worse than the things you see in these pictures, but those will be the same parents that will have a stroke if they catch their kid idolizing a pop star or movie star. Their lives aren't much different from a lot of ours. The only difference is that their lives somehow matter to lots of people while most of our lives only matter to our families. I haven't watched American Idol this year, but vote her off if you think she can't sing. Don't vote her off because of a few pics you've seen on the internet of her, doing stuff you probably did when you were her age, but didn't have the internet around at the time to give people a chance to humiliate you.

Whatever Frank (um, yeah sure you know her--a likely story). It's hard to believe what you say when the pictures tell a different story. You know what they say, "a picture tells...."
Take it from a former NJ pageant girl with "CLASS", you can have fun, be beautiful smart and hard working without grinding, posing topless and just being crude overall. I think it's embarassing for Jersey girls to be represented like this. I'm actually a South Philly Italian native but still... I truly think the show is doing some kind of litmus test with this girl to see how long it takes America to boot her because she can't sing well.
It is kind sad her so called friends trashed her with the photos and videos online especially the one of her on the toilet with the t.p. in hand. But you really shouldn't have pictures like that in the first place now should you?
Maybe what she did is in the past for now, but I have a feeling she probably will cause a whole lot more controversy in her life sadly. Not a nice girl.
P.S. I'm THRILLED that America is still this uptight. I have a young daughter and I'm glad people are still appalled by girls like this! YAY.

WOW. before you even judge this girl MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN. im sure NONE of yours are. okay so unless you are some queer thats never saw a penis or sipped alchohal or gone skinny dipping or got caught of in the moment, then shut your mouth :]. what you guys think you know this girl from seeing a couple of performances of her on american idol? NO you dont know her at all. she could be the nicest girl out there you dont know and your not giving her a chance. this is a SINGING competition. let that take her where shes going on the show. and not some pictures that werent even supposed to be on the internet. they were private.
and also im from new jersey. jackson which is very close to point pleasant. and its really not a big deal if you do that stuff here. everyone does it not just her :]

Can I just say that you people are the EXACT reason why Brit is in rehab. You criticize and complain and bitch and moan and act like you are perfect. You put people on these pedestals and get pissed when they don't live up to them.

Yo wat up...this chick sux. her attitude is stank. Remember the very first clip of her and Amanda when they're walking down the beach. One says, "How does my hair look?" And the other says, "fine, how about mine?" These two dipshits never looked at each other once. Talk about being full of herself, holy crap! She's probably got by all her life on her looks (fix da grill pls) and now when called on the carpet to perform, she sounds like a monkey having sex with a cat. This young woman deserves to be judged by her voice. Other sites clearly show her having sex. She has not demonstrated sound judgement - but when has Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera, Marilyn Monroe,or an endless list of others whose pics are all over the net??? Judge her voice, not anything else!!
